Server rules
The law of the wasteland
Survival is brutal. Our community doesn't have to be. Break these and you'll be walking the coast of another server.
No cheating or exploiting
Hacks, duping, glitching into bases, or abusing bugs results in a permanent ban.
Respect other survivors
Banter is fine. Racism, harassment, and hate speech are not tolerated anywhere.
Stay in character
Keep out-of-character talk to OOC channels. No metagaming with info from Discord or streams.
Value your life
Act like your character wants to survive. Comply when outgunned — no reckless heroics.
Initiate before hostility
Hostile actions need clear roleplay first. No KOS, and no combat logging mid-scene.
Admin decisions are final
Disputes are handled through a ticket on Discord, not in global chat.
How to join
Four steps to the coast
We're a console server — no Steam and no mods needed. Here is everything you need to get in game.
- Step 01
Join the Discord
Join our Discord first. It is where you link your account, get announcements, and open tickets.
- Step 02
Find the server
Launch DayZ on your console, open the Community server list, and search for "Dawn of Humanity".
- Step 03
Play 5–10 minutes
Spawn in and play for 5 to 10 minutes so the server registers your character.
- Step 04
Link your account
Head back to Discord and use the slash (/) commands to link your in-game account.
Accounts that are not linked will be banned. If that happens, open a ticket in our Discord and staff will get you unbanned.
